What is the DA Program?
Degree Apprenticeship Program or DA Program is a beneficiary program for all candidates who want to pursue post-graduation or graduation by investing a part of their stipend which thy are going to get from their Apprenticeship, This program has been introduced by TeamLease company.
What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeship is basically a contract staffing for a period of time where you Learn and earn and will be out with a certification as an Apprentice in a particular department. Usually, for contract staffing and Permanent staffing, you cannot learn and earn from day 1 whereas in an apprenticeship you can also earn while you learn.
Do you have to study as well?
Yes, During this DA Program you will be kept under a role in an organization and you will be doing OJT(On the Job Training) from day 1 you also need to clear the course during your apprenticeship.
Let us take an example of the Tata Motors Authorized Dealer DA Program. This program can be pursued by ITI candidates or Graduates from commerce and management streams.
Ideally, ITI candidates will be given technical advisors as a job role and Graduates will be treated as Customer advisors in parallel to this ITI candidates will be enrolled in B.Sc Mechatronics course and Graduates will be enrolled in MBA from a private university.
So from day 1 they start learning and working at the organization and will be studying for their Graduation/Post graduation courses.
Do candidates have to pay course fees for these DA programs?
The course fee will be deducted from your stipend like 700rs for the Degree program / and 2500rs for the MBA program. You no need to pay from your pocket. For candidates who are willing to pursue their graduation and post-graduation, it is a dream come true if you arent have economical support.
Who is eligible for Degree Apprenticeship Program?
Apprenticeships are not just for graduates or for ITI candidates soon are the days where work will come on a project basis and every employee should be having a working knowledge of every skill set this is where DA or Apprenticeships will rule the future and we get to see an increase of trend from 2021 where more candidates right from their final year registering for this DA program so they can start doing the OJT post completion of their final year.

Apprenticeship is majorly in Manufacturing, Food and Beverages, Construction, Marine, Fabrication, Electronics, Entertainment, Retail, Logistics, Automobile/Mechanical, Sales, Technical Industries.
Do the certificate from DA Program valid for other Jobs?DA program offers you BSc or MBA certificates from India’s Top Private universities you, of course, can reuse them for your job switch and mostly a lot of candidates will turn into permanent employees post completion of their DA program in the same organization.
